Volunteering

As a Futures in Mind volunteer befriender or peer mentor you can offer your experience and skills to help others.

Share Your Lived Experience

If you have experienced recovery from addiction, substance misuse or mental health problems, you are the kind of person we’d love to hear from. As a volunteer in our service you’ll be able to share your experience with others and support individuals and groups. You’ll receive skills training, first aid training and safeguarding checks so that you can feel safe working with others and you’ll be supported by staff during your time with us. We also pay your expenses for attending sessions and training.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to give back!

If you would like to join our team, please contact us or use the self-referral form and mention that you are looking to volunteer.
