Befriending

Have you stopped doing things you used to enjoy?  Would you like to try something new, or get out and about but don’t want to go alone?  Does your mental health or substance misuse issue make you feel isolated?

A  Futures in Mind volunteer befriender could help you find your confidence and enthusiasm again and feel part of your community.

Our befrienders have accompanied people shopping; been to the cinema; gone swimming, cycling and running; drunk coffee and chatted; tried tai chi and yoga; laughed out loud; listened and learned and made really positive differences to people’s lives.
