We were very pleased and proud to be celebrating the strong sense of belonging and community that Futures in Mind provides, at our Performance Monitoring meeting, on the 7th of August, at Quaker Meeting House, Chelmsford.
The purpose of this gathering was to celebrate the achievements of our service users and volunteers, with our Commissioners. We showcased a range of videos and photographs of all the groups and activities that we provide, and many service users and volunteers attended to discuss their ideas and opinions with the Commissioners. This was essential in highlighting the impact of our activities on service users wellbeing and recovery maintenance.
Following this meeting, Lorna one of our Commissioners who is a Contract Manager at Procurement Services, Essex County Council, visited our Langdon Halls conservation site which is partnered with Essex Wildlife Trust. Lorna not only toured the area but spent time talking to individuals and the group as a whole. It was lovely to have someone showing genuine interest and giving further encouragement to our team.
We look forward to many more meetings in which we can celebrate the impact of our services.
